Dr. David BELJONNE

David Beljonne is an Belgian scientist who deals with the modelling using classical, quantum-chemical and phenomenological approaches of the interplay between the supramolecular organization and the opto-electronic properties of conjugated materials in the bulk phase and at interfaces.
In 2007, he was named the Research director from the Belgian National Science Foundation (FNRS).
He is ranked at the position 88 of the world 100 top Materials Scientists 2000-2010. His H-index is 65.

Prof. Dr. Thomas MICHELY

Thomas Michely is a full Professor for experimental physics at the II. Physics Institute, University of Cologne, Germany.
His current research interests are graphene hybrid materials and cluster superlattices, 2D layer materials, growth and epitaxy (oxides, metals, organics), pattern formation, interaction of energetic particles with surfaces; atomic scale investigations of surface processes and reactions, electronic and magnetic surface structure. Key methods of his research are scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy.
His H-index is 42.
